On Friday I'll be heading out for the women's retreat with my church, so I figured today was as good a day as any to do the oh so exciting chore of laundry. I usually try to space out our laundry so that I don't have too many loads all at once, but decided to tackle it all today. It's definitely not all going to get folded though- but at least it will be clean!
Noelle and Jonah's laundry
so silly
Between downpours, we hit up the grocery store for a few things that I want to bring with me this weekend, including another jar of almond butter, which I seem to go through on a weekly basis. So yum!
my favorite kind of shopping cart
After Jonah went down for his second nap (hallelujah!), I set up a fort for Noelle to play in. It kept her entertained for about 10 minutes, and she had too-easy access to the paper plates. And the marker. Which she used on the comforter from my college days.

We ended with a delicious salad for dinner and bathtime for the littles. It was definitely a simple day at home, but I am so thankful I get to spend the day with Noelle and Jonah!
All of this week I left my laundry and yesterday when I decided to do it the weather turned into heavy rain! So today I decided to get it all done and out of the way so I could look up celebrity gossip during nap time guilt free! I'm onto my fourth load! Enjoy your retreat on friday!
